Gallery installation

I'm excited to announce that my mandala art will be featured in the Snohomish Arts Council Gallery Store from July 9-August 20 in Everett, WA.

The installation will include mixed media mandala on canvas and mandala mirrors. In addition, some new work will be included that uses a combination of handcarved mandala stamps, collage, and dimensional elements.

A friend recently came up for the weekend for a "Girl's Art Weekend." She said, "You really need to see the mandalas up close and in person to appreciate the beautiful colors and intricate designs. The website doesn't do them justice."

Well, here's hoping folks will appreciate them up close and personal at the Gallery Store!

The web is awesome!

Every time I find some incredible site on the internet, it seems like it leads me to yet another incredible site, and another, and so on and so on and so on. Some people say computer games or TV is addictive? I could literally spend hours just surfin' the web, clicking on one link to another. I LOVE the web!

It was started by a couple of artists, originally from Olympia, WA and now operating out of Portland, OR. It's basically a local "Etsy" but more controlled in scope. But the artists they feature make really, really cool stuff! Anyway, definitely check it out... and buy LOCAL!
